Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and schematic capture for advanced power conversion modules and grid-tie inverters.
- Perform comprehensive circuit simulations using LTspice or PSpice to validate design concepts and corner cases.
- Direct high-density PCB layout efforts, ensuring optimal thermal management and high-speed signal integrity.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners to facilitate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) protocols.
- Conduct rigorous laboratory testing, including EMI/EMC pre-compliance, vibration, and safety validation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal engineering standards and workflows.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant advantage.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in high-voltage (600V+) or high-power system design.
- Mastery of professional EDA software, specifically Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
- Deep knowledge of magnetic component design and wide-bandgap power semiconductor (SiC/GaN) selection.
- Proven track record of taking complex industrial products through UL, CE, or FCC certification processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex electromagnetic interference (EMI) challenges.
