Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
- Conduct comprehensive root-cause analysis for hardware failures and implement robust design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
- Perform rigorous simulation, testing, and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with global safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of hardware design documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of critical electrical components.
- Maintain technical design journals and prepare documentation for regulatory certification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in electrical hardware design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems architecture.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards including UL, CE, and FCC requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept through to full-scale production.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
