Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Perform SPICE simulations and PCB layout validation for high-frequency power electronics
- Develop thermal management strategies for high-density power components
- Collaborate with hardware teams on prototype testing and failure analysis
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEC 62109, and IEEE 1547 standards
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturing scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of SiC/GaN device characteristics and application circuits
- Proven experience with EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and DFMEA methodologies
- Experience leading technical projects from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
