Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for municipal infrastructure and commercial developments
- Design and analyze complex structural systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental consultants, contractors)
- Ensure compliance with BC Building Code, CSA standards, and municipal regulations
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop sustainable design solutions for climate-resilient infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. designation in BC
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Expert proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$10M in value
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and foundation design
- Experience with municipal permitting processes and stakeholder engagement
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory compliance
