Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power electronics systems for EV chargers and grid inverters
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer with emphasis on EMI/EMC compliance
- Perform thermal analysis and reliability testing of power components
- Collaborate with firmware engineers on embedded control system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews
- Support product lifecycle from prototype to mass production
- Stay current on IEEE standards and emerging semiconductor technologies
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power electronics experience
- Expertise in SiC/GaN device applications and high-frequency converter topologies
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Certification in IPC-2221 PCB design standards
- Demonstrated project leadership in regulated industries
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Experience with automotive AEC-Q100 qualification processes
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
