Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and standards
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (government agencies, contractors)
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record of delivering multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects on schedule
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction documentation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
