Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy microgrids
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and control systems
- Perform comprehensive circuit analysis, fault studies, and power quality assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure scalable production of electrical assemblies
- Drive compliance with IEEE, NEC, and IEC standards for electrical safety
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and energy storage integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience
- PE (Professional Engineer) certification required
- Expertise in power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and PSpice simulation tools
- Proven track record leading complex electrical projects from concept to deployment
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing power systems
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar, wind, battery storage)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and technical documentation
