Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex power electronics subsystems including DC/DC converters and inverter systems.
- Lead schematic capture and oversee PCB layout, ensuring optimal thermal management and EMI compliance.
- Perform rigorous simulation using SPICE or MATLAB/Simulink to validate design performance under variable loads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger mechanical assemblies.
- Conduct design reviews and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure maximum reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee hardware prototyping, debugging, and verification testing in our state-of-the-art laboratory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in high-power electronics design or industrial hardware development.
- Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA software suites.
- Deep understanding of power semiconductor technologies including GaN, SiC, and MOSFETs.
- Proven track record of taking complex electrical projects from initial concept to mass production.
- Expertise in international safety and performance standards (IEC, UL, IEEE).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
