Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PCB layouts for high-voltage power conversion systems.
- Conduct rigorous simulation and testing using LTspice, Altium, or PSpice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into mechanical housings.
- Perform root-cause analysis on hardware failures and implement effective design improvements.
- Manage technical documentation, including BOMs, schematic capture, and design review reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate design code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with UL, IEEE, and international safety certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in analog/power electronics design.
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for PCB schematic and layout.
- In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN).
- Experience with thermal management and high-density power supply design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
