Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power electronics systems for renewable energy applications
- Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Conduct thermal, electromagnetic, and stress analysis simulations using ANSYS and MATLAB
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and IEC 62109 safety standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate control algorithms with hardware designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics converters (DC-DC, inverters, battery BMS)
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and electromagnetic modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and high-density interconnects
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent preferred
- Experience with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Demonstrated project leadership in energy storage or grid-tied systems
