Responsibilities
- Design and optimize power conversion circuits for solar/wind energy systems
- Perform SPICE simulations and PCB layout validation using Altium Designer
- Lead failure analysis and reliability testing of high-voltage components
- Develop hardware requirements and interface with firmware teams
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in power electronics (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS simulation tools
- Strong PCB design skills with high-frequency layout knowledge
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI testing and mitigation techniques
- Experience with thermal management and heatsink design
