Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical schematics for high-voltage power systems using AutoCAD and EPLAN
- Lead PCB layout optimization for high-efficiency power converters and inverters
- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with firmware team on embedded system integration
- Analyze thermal management solutions for high-power electronics
- Support manufacturing teams with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Proven track record with 3-phase inverter topologies
- Experience leading technical documentation (DFMEA, DHR)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
