Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design for commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer
- Conduct power analysis, thermal modeling, and EMC compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate new power conversion technologies
- Interface with vendors to source optimal components and negotiate technical specifications
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including test reports and installation guides
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or high-voltage systems design
- Expert proficiency in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong background in three-phase power systems and grid interconnection
- Certification in P.E. (Professional Engineer) or equivalent
- Proven track record of delivering complex electrical projects on time and budget
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Deep understanding of IEEE standards and NEC regulations
