Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of high-power electrical systems from concept through to manufacturing.
- Perform detailed circuit simulations using SPICE, Altium, or similar EDA tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics into compact mechanical assemblies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for validation, compliance, and thermal management.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and perform rigorous design reviews.
- Optimize system efficiency, power density, and cost-effectiveness for mass-market deployment.
- Oversee prototype build-outs and troubleshoot complex electrical anomalies during the R&D cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics, analog circuit design, or motor control.
- Proficiency in PCB layout and schematic capture for high-speed or high-power applications.
- Deep understanding of regulatory standards such as UL, IEC, and FCC.
- Strong experience with power conversion topologies (DC-DC, AC-DC, Inverters).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment.
