Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PCB layouts for high-voltage power systems using Altium Designer
- Lead electrical architecture for solar inverters and energy storage systems
- Perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and mitigation analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with UL/IEC standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with embedded firmware
- Develop technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and manufacturability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics and high-frequency circuit design
- Proficiency in simulation tools (SPICE, PSpice) and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and component selection
- Experience with ISO 13485/IEC 60601 medical device compliance preferred
- Proven track record in bringing products from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit required
