Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex PCB assemblies for aerospace-grade electronics
- Lead schematic capture and layout using Altium Designer/Cadence Allegro
- Conduct EMI/EMC compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Interface with vendors for component sourcing and qualification
- Develop test procedures and validate prototypes in lab environments
- Support FAA certification processes for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in high-reliability electronics design
- Expertise in power electronics, embedded systems, and RF design
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and signal integrity analysis
- Familiarity with DO-254/178C aerospace standards
- Strong knowledge of IPC-2221/IPC-2222 PCB standards
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
