Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of electrical power systems, including low-voltage and high-voltage distribution.
- Create detailed schematics, one-line diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Perform comprehensive load calculations, short-circuit studies, and arc-flash hazard analysis.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical system design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or ETAP.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced team environments.
- PE license or EIT certification is a significant plus.
