Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive electrical systems for commercial and industrial power infrastructure.
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept to prototype testing and mass production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct advanced circuit analysis, load simulations, and power distribution modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB).
- Perform rigorous quality assurance testing and troubleshoot complex power failures to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on complex electrical design projects.
- Ensure all designs strictly adhere to NEC, IEEE, and local safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, power systems, or industrial hardware engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, and grounding systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into scalable designs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
