Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle development of complex electrical systems from initial requirement gathering to mass production.
- Design and simulate advanced PCB layouts, focusing on signal integrity, power management, and thermal dissipation.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis and troubleshoot complex electromechanical failures in prototype units.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical peer reviews to maintain high design standards.
- Manage relationships with hardware vendors and oversee component sourcing strategies.
- Develop comprehensive test protocols to ensure compliance with UL, CE, and FCC regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in electrical hardware design and product development.
- Advanced proficiency in schematic capture and layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
- Proven expertise in power electronics, analog circuit design, and microcontroller-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on precision and technical documentation.
