Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and comprehensive technical documentation using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical components to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards (UL, IEC, NEC).
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into broader product architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle to ensure best practices.
- Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot complex circuit issues to drive continuous improvement and reliability.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical design, preferably within the power electronics or renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design software such as Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical, or OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, and other relevant electrical safety codes and regulations.
- Experience with simulation tools like SPICE, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
