Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical schematics for high-voltage power distribution systems
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for industrial control panels
- Perform power system analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integrated system architecture
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and IEEE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Develop technical documentation including test procedures and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN P8
- Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems and harmonics
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) required
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Demonstrated project management skills for technical deliverables
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
