Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, and test complex analog and digital circuits for high-performance embedded systems.
  • Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and collaborate with mechanical engineers for optimal system integration.
  • Lead component selection, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for hardware issues during development and production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, software, mechanical) to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Generate comprehensive design documentation, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, Cadence Allegro) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analog, digital, mixed-signal design, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet), and communication protocols.
  • Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
