Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and test complex analog and digital circuits for high-performance embedded systems.
- Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and collaborate with mechanical engineers for optimal system integration.
- Lead component selection, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for hardware issues during development and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, software, mechanical) to define system requirements and specifications.
- Generate comprehensive design documentation, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, Cadence Allegro) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Demonstrated expertise in analog, digital, mixed-signal design, power management, and signal integrity.
- Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet), and communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
