VoltEdge Dynamics is seeking a visionary Senior Electrical Design Engineer to spearhead our next generation of sustainable energy hardware. In this high-impact role, you will lead the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems that power mission-critical infrastructure. You will work alongside a world-class team of engineers in our cutting-edge San Jose R&D center, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in energy efficiency and grid resilience.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex PCB layouts for power distribution units.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the full product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
- Perform rigorous simulation and thermal analysis to ensure system reliability under extreme conditions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans and debug protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in hardware design and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors to source high-quality components while optimizing BOM costs.
- Ensure compliance with international electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in analog/digital hardware design.
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
- Proven track record of designing high-power electronic circuits and conversion systems.
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC design principles and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and stakeholder teams.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes.
