Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the EHS management system (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and manage all incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Monitor environmental impact metrics and drive sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and emissions.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to integrate safety into the design and execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in EHS management within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Professional certification such as CIROH, NEBOSH, or CSP is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and state-specific environmental laws.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and safety reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting purposes.
