Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive, standards-aligned curriculum for adult learners using ADDIE and SAMR instructional design models.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and graphic designers to create interactive eLearning modules, videos, and assessments.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas or Moodle to deploy and manage course content effectively.
- Analyze learning data and user feedback to iterate on course materials and improve learner retention rates.
- Ensure all educational content adheres to accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and regulatory standards.
- Lead curriculum mapping initiatives to align with industry certifications and academic benchmarks.
- Mentor junior instructional designers and contribute to the team's best practices documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design within the EdTech sector.
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS administration.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, cognitive load theory, and digital pedagogy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into digestible content.
- Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple project timelines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript is a significant plus.
