Responsibilities
- Design and execute drilling programs for offshore and onshore wells
- Optimize drilling parameters to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct well control analysis and mitigate operational risks
- Collaborate with geoscientists and reservoir engineers to maximize recovery
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in upstream drilling operations
- Strong proficiency in drilling software (e.g., Landmark, Petrel)
- Certification in Well Control (IWCF) required
- Proven track record in complex well design and execution
- Deepwater drilling experience highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities
