Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive content calendars that balance editorial quality with SEO requirements.
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and research to publication and performance analysis.
- Optimize headlines, meta descriptions, and body copy to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.
- Conduct deep-dive analytics to track content performance and iterate on strategies based on data.
- Collaborate with the design and dev teams to ensure content is technically optimized for all devices.
- Mentor a team of writers and editors, providing feedback on style, tone, and storytelling.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in both journalism and digital marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in digital media, journalism, or content strategy with a proven track record of SEO success.
- Deep understanding of on-page and technical SEO principles.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
