Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Research, write, and edit high-quality, SEO-optimized articles and multimedia content that aligns with brand voice and audience interests.
- SEO Strategy: Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, meta-tag optimization, and schema markup, to increase organic traffic.
- Storytelling: Conduct in-depth interviews and research to produce feature stories, opinion pieces, and breaking news coverage.
- Analytics: Monitor content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to refine strategies and maximize engagement metrics.
- Collaboration: Partner with the design and marketing teams to ensure content is visually compelling and shareable across social platforms.
- Editorial Standards: Uphold strict editorial guidelines regarding accuracy, grammar, and style consistency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital journalism, content marketing, or a related field.
- SEO Knowledge: Demonstrable experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) and CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful).
- Writing Skills: Exceptional command of the English language with a portfolio of published work.
