Responsibilities
- Design and deploy ML models for clinical prediction and patient stratification
- Develop real-time data processing pipelines for electronic health records
- Lead A/B testing frameworks for healthcare interventions and treatment protocols
- Translate complex statistical findings into actionable clinical recommendations
- Mentor junior data scientists and drive best practices in model governance
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and clinical leadership teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in applied data science with healthcare/biotech focus
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL for large-scale datasets
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Strong understanding of FDA/IRB compliance for healthcare data
- Proficiency in distributed computing (Spark, Dask) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Track record of deploying models into production healthcare systems
- PhD or Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, or Biostatistics
