Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition and data acquisition to model deployment and performance monitoring.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business intelligence teams to integrate data science solutions into core products and strategies.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of best practices, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, applying new techniques where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data science, with a strong track record of deploying impactful models in production environments.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and/or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Deep expertise in various machine learning techniques (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, deep learning) and model evaluation.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets in relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and the capacity to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
