We are seeking a highly strategic Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite security operations center in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will design robust, scalable security frameworks that protect sensitive assets from sophisticated, evolving threats.

Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade security architectures across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead complex threat modeling exercises and perform rigorous security reviews of infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Act as the primary technical authority for identity and access management (IAM) strategies and zero-trust implementation.
- Develop and maintain security incident response playbooks and disaster recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security-first development practices.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and translate global threat intelligence into actionable defensive controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in security architecture, information security, or systems engineering.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, including encryption standards, VPC configuration, and secure container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel), EDR, and WAF solutions.
- Expertise in compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
- Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical security requirements and business objectives.
