Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure environment consistency.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment cycles.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and lead incident response.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in cloud security and compliance.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous analysis and resource right-sizing strategies.
- Lead the migration of legacy services to containerized, cloud-native architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or systems architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Fluency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Deep understanding of networking, VPCs, IAM, and cloud security frameworks.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed system issues in a 24/7 production environment.
