Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, contract negotiation, and commercial transactions.
- Lead and manage due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and significant investment opportunities.
- Develop and implement robust legal frameworks to mitigate risk and ensure strict adherence to UK and EU regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to drive growth while ensuring legal compliance.
- Oversee the management of external counsel and supervise complex litigation matters.
- Advise on data privacy, employment law, and intellectual property issues.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven expertise in corporate law, with a focus on M&A, joint ventures, and commercial agreements.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR and international data protection regulations.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
