Responsibilities
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing expert legal advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Transactional Work: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial contracts, including sale and purchase agreements, joint ventures, and service contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities and documentation strictly adhere to current UK legislation and regulatory standards.
- Strategic Advisory: Advise senior management on commercial risks and opportunities, offering innovative legal strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior associates and trainees, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the legal team.
- Case Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cases, from initial client intake to final resolution or settlement.
Qualifications
- Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor (Qualified in England and Wales) with a strong academic record.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically within Commercial Law or Corporate Law.
- Specialization: Demonstrable expertise in drafting commercial contracts and navigating corporate governance frameworks.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
