Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate transactions, contract negotiations, and commercial disputes.
- Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of litigation and regulatory matters from inception to resolution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision and commercial awareness.
- Advise senior management on strategic legal risks and ensure full compliance with UK regulatory frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise junior solicitors and paralegals to foster professional development.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed written memoranda on relevant case law and legislation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (or Qualified Legal Executive with significant experience) with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
- Specialization in Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients.
- Membership in good standing with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
