Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including M&A documents and joint venture contracts.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Manage outside counsel and oversee legal budgets to ensure maximum firm efficiency.
- Lead internal investigations and manage high-level dispute resolution processes.
- Advise on intellectual property protection strategies and risk mitigation frameworks.
- Represent the firm in high-stakes negotiations and board-level presentations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate law within a top-tier firm or corporate legal department.
- Proven expertise in cross-border M&A and international commercial law.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion.
- Experience in leading high-performance legal teams and cross-functional projects.
