Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions, venture capital rounds, and strategic partnerships for high-growth tech clients
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC compliance, and intellectual property protection
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for cross-border transactions and regulatory landscapes
- Mentor junior associates through training programs and case collaboration
- Manage legal operations for portfolio companies across 3+ jurisdictions
- Drive innovation in legal tech solutions for client workflows
Qualifications
- JD from ABA-accredited law school + active MA bar membership
- 7+ years corporate law experience with top-tier law firm or in-house counsel
- Proven track record in FinTech/Venture Capital transactions (50+ deals)
- Expertise in SEC regulations, corporate governance, and IP strategy
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to close complex deals
- Experience managing legal teams and budgets
- Advanced proficiency in legal tech platforms (Clio, Lex Machina)
