Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence, negotiations, and documentation for M&A transactions valued at $50M+
- Advise C-suite executives on corporate governance, SEC filings, and board governance
- Develop and implement global compliance frameworks across 15+ jurisdictions
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships for high-stakes disputes
- Mentor junior attorneys and drive innovation in legal tech integration
- Partner with business units to align legal strategy with commercial objectives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms/in-house
- Bar admission in New York and active membership in good standing
- Proven track record in M&A, corporate governance, and securities law
- Expertise in cross-border transactions and international regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional negotiation skills with documented deal closure success
- Admission to New York State Bar Association
