Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions and venture capital investments, drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- Develop and implement global compliance programs for fintech products across 15+ jurisdictions
- Advise executive leadership on regulatory changes affecting digital asset operations
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships for high-stakes disputes
- Mentor junior counsel and build scalable legal processes for rapid scaling
- Collaborate with product teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into new offerings
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited institution with admission to NY Bar
- 8+ years of corporate law experience, with 3+ years in fintech or regulated tech
- Proven track record negotiating $50M+ transactions and drafting SEC filings
- Deep expertise in blockchain regulations, GDPR, and cross-border data flows
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate legal concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management experience leading legal initiatives from conception to implementation
