Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex domestic and international corporate mergers and acquisitions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial contracts, joint ventures, and licensing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to C-suite executives on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Manage outside counsel and external legal resources for specialized litigation matters.
- Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to protect firm and client interests.
- Develop and mentor junior associates to ensure professional growth and high-performance standards.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate law at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
- Expertise in M&A, securities regulation, and complex commercial contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable business strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
