Responsibilities
- Lead M&A due diligence, negotiations, and closings for $100M+ transactions
- Advise C-suite executives on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts across 15+ jurisdictions
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Develop innovative legal solutions for emerging fintech challenges
- Mentor junior associates and drive knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Drive diversity initiatives within the legal department
Qualifications
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with top 10% academic standing
- Active NY State bar membership (required)
- Proven expertise in M&A, securities, and fintech regulations
- Exceptional negotiation skills with documented deal wins
- Admission to at least one state bar and SEC qualification
- Experience managing cross-border transactions and international teams
- Strong track record of mentoring junior attorneys
