Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions due diligence, drafting, and execution for Fortune 500 clients
- Develop comprehensive compliance programs for international data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and securities regulations
- Advise on corporate restructuring, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Manage litigation portfolios and oversee external counsel relationships
- Create legal training materials for executive teams on regulatory updates
- Drive innovation in legal technology implementation and process automation
- Represent clients in regulatory hearings and arbitration proceedings
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school with NY Bar admission
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
- Expertise in SEC regulations, M&A, and cross-border transactions
- Proven track record in drafting complex commercial agreements and IP licensing
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) preferred
- Exceptional negotiation skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience managing legal teams and budgets
