Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Advise C-suite executives on governance structures, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and implement corporate policies ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory landscapes
- Manage litigation matters and regulatory investigations with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior attorneys while maintaining billable hour targets and client satisfaction metrics
- Drive innovation in legal technology to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
- Admitted to the New York State Bar with active membership in good standing
- Proven track record in complex M&A transactions and corporate governance matters
- Expertise in SEC regulations, corporate compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate legal concepts into strategic business solutions
