Responsibilities
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring transactions
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements
- Manage regulatory compliance for international operations across 15+ jurisdictions
- Lead litigation strategy and oversee external counsel for high-stakes disputes
- Develop legal training programs for executive leadership teams
- Conduct due diligence for venture capital and private equity investments
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to NY State Bar with 7+ years of corporate law experience
- Proven track record in M&A transactions and securities regulations
- Advanced certification in data privacy compliance (e.g., CIPP/US)
- Experience managing legal tech tools (Contract Lifecycle Management, e-discovery)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish preferred for international matters
- Excellent legal writing and persuasive advocacy skills
