Responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A transactions, due diligence, and contract negotiations for Fortune 500 clients
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC compliance, and cross-border regulatory frameworks
- Develop innovative legal strategies for emerging technologies (crypto, AI, blockchain)
- Manage high-stakes litigation and arbitration proceedings
- Mentor junior attorneys and lead legal process optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align legal strategy with business objectives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from ABA-accredited law school with admission to NY Bar
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
- Proven expertise in M&A, securities regulation, and international transactions
- Advanced certification in corporate compliance (e.g., CCEP) or data privacy (e.g., CIPP)
- Exceptional negotiation skills with documented successful deal closures
- Experience managing legal teams and technology-driven legal operations
- Fluency in additional languages (Spanish/Mandarin) preferred for global transactions
