Responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A transactions and corporate restructuring initiatives
- Advise C-suite executives on governance best practices and SEC compliance
- Develop and implement global compliance frameworks for multinational operations
- Negotiate high-stakes commercial contracts and intellectual property agreements
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Mentor junior attorneys and drive diversity initiatives within the legal department
- Stay ahead of evolving regulatory landscapes (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms or in-house
- Admitted to New York State Bar with active membership
- Proven expertise in M&A, securities law, and corporate governance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex legal concepts
- Experience managing cross-border transactions and multinational teams
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced certification in corporate compliance (e.g., CCEP) preferred
