Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate governance, securities compliance, and regulatory matters
- Lead due diligence and transactional support for M&A and venture capital deals
- Develop and implement intellectual property protection strategies
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
- Mentor junior attorneys and support professional development initiatives
- Stay current on evolving legal trends impacting the tech industry
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum 7 years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm
- Active New York State bar membership
- Proven expertise in M&A, securities regulation, and corporate governance
- Strong negotiation skills with transactional deal experience
- Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with technology startups or high-growth companies preferred
