Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements, M&A documentation, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead internal investigations and manage external counsel on litigation matters.
- Advise executive stakeholders on labor, employment, and intellectual property matters.
- Ensure the firm maintains rigorous adherence to SEC regulations and state-specific legal mandates.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Represent the company in high-level negotiations with international entities.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate law, preferably at a top-tier firm or large enterprise.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership presence with experience mentoring junior associates.
