Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence, negotiation, and execution of multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions valued at $500M+
- Develop and implement global compliance programs addressing GDPR, CCPA, and emerging data privacy regulations
- Advise C-suite executives on corporate governance, SEC filings, and board governance best practices
- Manage cross-functional litigation strategy for high-stakes commercial disputes and regulatory investigations
- Mentor junior attorneys while maintaining caseload of 15+ active matters
- Drive legal innovation through technology adoption in e-discovery and contract lifecycle management
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited institution with admission to New York Bar
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at AmLaw 100 or equivalent firm
- Proven expertise in M&A, securities regulation, and cross-border transactions
- Advanced certification in data privacy law (CIPP/US or CIPT)
- Exceptional negotiation skills with documented $100M+ deal closure record
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin for international client engagements
- Experience leading legal teams of 5+ professionals
