Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence and risk assessment for multi-million dollar M&A transactions
- Develop corporate governance frameworks for international expansion projects
- Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements with Fortune 500 partners
- Advise on data privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA) and tech licensing matters
- Manage litigation strategy and regulatory interactions with federal agencies
- Mentor junior counsel and optimize legal department workflows
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at AmLaw 100 or equivalent
- Active NY State bar membership in good standing
- Proven expertise in M&A transactions and SEC compliance
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in contract lifecycle management software
- Exceptional analytical writing and courtroom advocacy skills
